“Wow, what an amazing creation!” — would be the reaction of everyone who looks at these glowing lights hanging from taps. We all know that Water is energy, so dealing with natural resources — in this particular case, the water — is absolutely fantastic! Look at these wall-mounted taps that function as dimmer switches for the custom-molded LEDs, allowing more or less light. This award-winning design of Light Drop is a creation of Brazilian designer Rafael Morgan.

To turn them on, you just need to turn the tap that has these drop lamps — the more you twist, the brighter the light gets. This design really made us to think about saving water, isn’t it?

This awesome design is going to be produced by Dark this year. If you are thinking of preparing one of the same kind on your own, I would like to advice you, to be careful while constructing the whole thing, as water and power sometimes may be dangerous too, requires lot of attention and experience.

Hey, here is an exciting news for all you people out there interested in smelling good! Yes, I am speaking about perfumes but I won’t ask you to buy it as usual but I will help you in preparing perfumes on your own! The experiments should be carried over using the amazing ‘Copper Alembic Perfume Distiller’. Before checking the procedure, first let’s have a look at when and by whom this all was started.

This creative and never ending experimentation started sometime in 1853 in the Iberian Peninsula by Al-Ambik, makers of fine distilling instruments. This copper alembic distiller is reminiscent of those used for over 1,200 years to extract essential oils from plants for use in perfumes.

Now let’s check out the procedure of preparing scents on our own step by step!

1) First place water and fragrant plant leaves (such as lavender, peppermint, or thyme) into the 2 2/3-quart cucurbit.

2) Then light the oil lamp and place it under the cucurbit.

3) As the water boils, steam extracts essential oils from the plant and fills the vessel with oil vapor.

4) Then the oil vapor passes from the cucurbit through the swan-neck tube and once it reaches the water-filled condensing pot, it is cooled and converted into a concentrated liquid.

5) The last step is where you get the perfumes as the aromatic oil is deposited into a copper cooling cup.

The dimensions of this copper alembic distiller are 11 3/4″ H x 13 3/4″ W x 6 3/4″ D. It weighs 4 1/2 lbs and costs $349.95.

This reminds me of the aladdin’s lamp, even though a ginn won’t come out of it, but this’ll surely help in ongoing extraction of various scents! Bring this home from here just for once so that you can go on experimenting with some wonderful perfumery!

Kids at younger age will not be comfortable to write or draw with the mouse of computer. Even though they can find some tools in Microsoft paint, it may not excite them much. Technology developed and we have seen digital pens and pads using which we can see our writings on the screen, but children look here it’s directly writing on the screen. Isn’t it exciting? Introducing the ‘Computer Interactive activity screen’ by Berchet USA is an amazing tool to have fun, it’s just awesome! The entire kit has an activity screen, 4 dry-erase markers, sponge and stickers. Attach the screen to your standard PC, put the CD in, that has 10 interactive games, and let your kids improve their artistic skills! As the screen is externally attached, you dont need to worry about your original screen underneath.

Let’s check out the measurements of this wonderful activity screen:
It can fit up to 19″ monitors. Even though a small portion of the picture is hidden by the multimedia screen, it may not effect the child’s game.

From the diagonal corner, the inside screen of the activity screen measures 15″ and is measured just like a computer monitor. The screen’s dimensions are 12″W x 9.5″H.
It’s recommended for the kids of age 3-6 years and it costs $47.95.

So kids hurry up and get it home and start having fun! But children don’t stick to it completely, I mean you may strain your eyes.

People who are perfectionists never neglect time and utilize every second of the day! Here is a great scheduler for such people who like to plan the whole day, in advance. It’s the ‘Life Cycle’, a personal planner device designed by Stefan Krivokapic, that helps in utilizing time effectively.

It not only helps in planning the future but also in checking the previous events and tasks. Every morning, you can check out the entire day’s schedule, during the day check for what you still have to do and what you should be doing, and at the end of the day you may have a glance at it to check what you did throughout the day. Really amazing stuff!

Just attach the ‘Life Cycle’ to your computer using the USB interface and start organizing your future and also have an access how you spent your previous time.

We have always seen time associated to numbers but here it’s time associated to colors! This outstanding Life cycle has the colored stripes, and each color has a task associated to it. Not only that, in Italy this wonderful gadget was awarded the gold award at the 2007 Samsung Young Design Award in Milan.

To your surprise this white and bright item is not a normal flask or a beautiful flower vase, but it’s a Airswitch 1 Lamp. Actually this is self explainatory, as it’s called an Airswitch lamp, air is the switch for this! This mouth-blown glass shade, made of plastic has come out with different functionality altogether. Even kids can operate it, as it has no risk of plugging in the wires or stuff like that. To on and off you just need to move your hand on the top of this flask like lamp. As your hand goes higher and higher the light gets dimmer and to see this glow brightly bring your hand lower and lower. Very interesting!! Isn’t it?

I don’t think there’s any confusion in how to use it, even if you have any in the beginning, you can take help of the instructions that are printed on one side of this white lamp in iconographic form.

Height of this amazing lamp is 10″, diameter at the bulge is 5.5″ and the diameter at the top is 2.4″.
We need to wait for a little while to bring this one home as it will be available from 31st December.

Let’s have a look at its features:

1) This credit card from ‘Shinhan Card’ supports the information inquiry and the automatic log-in service.

2) The built-in IC chip has a public authorization and the internet credit payment programs.

3) No need to insert the credit card for the online payment, instead just connect the USB to the slot.

4) You can use the IC card reader for the no-touch payment at the franchise stores.

The USB itself cannot be used as a portable storage device for deleting or saving data. However, it can surely get points for it’s great and attractive design with dark blue color.

For now the company is hoping that this USB attracts many franchise stores. As we like to minimize the things we carry, it would be great if this comes along with some storage capability.

Life is so boring without fun and excitement. Here is a very exciting Ferris wheel to have fun. No, it’s not the normal ferris wheel on which you can sit, but is one you can see rotate with some micro-mini people around. Isn’t it exciting? It’s a wonderful creation from Lego. You can build this Ferris wheel on your own too. It’s very colorful and also has carts that sway back and forth. The entire kit features a ticket booth, micro people, trees and baseplates to complete the scene.

The Lego Ferris Wheel has a motor that rotates it. Everything happens almost as the real ferris wheel, I mean it starts rotating very fast and then slows down.

This colorful Ferris wheel measures over 17″ (43 cm) wide and 18″ (46 cm) high. And actually the base plate gives a great look for the entire construction, and also gives a good grip for each building. You get baseplates of 2 sizes, 1) 10″ x 10″ (25 cm x 25 cm), and 2) 5″ x 10″ (13 cm x 25 cm).

Bring home the entire kit, just open it, and you will find a battery box, a motor to make models move and also instructions to rebuild into a moveable drawbridge or a working building crane. You just need to buy the 6 AA (1.5v) batteries to see them move.
So, get some batteries along with the complete building kit from Lego and have some excitement and fun!

Chris O’Donnell is the youngest child in his family with four sisters and two brothers. Now it seems like he is repeating the trend of huge and happy families. Chris proposed Caroline Fentress in the year 1996 and they got married in the coming year.

Caroline gave birth to a baby girl on December 10th in Los Angeles. The couple is really excited about their 5th child entering the world. They named the new born baby as Maeve Frances. She was born with a weight of 8 pounds and measured 21 1/2 inches long.

“Everyone’s happy”, and “Mother and baby are doing great”, said the rep.

Have a look at the brothers and sisters of new born baby:

1) Sister Lily - 8 years old,
2) Big brother Chip - 7 years old,
3) Charlie - 4 years old, and
4) Finley, who’ll be two years old in March 2008.
Very nice example of a huge and happy family!

The films that O’Donnell acted in, are Kinsey, The Bachelor, Circle of Friends, The Three Musketeers, Mad Love, Scent of a Woman and School Ties. We can even see him on the big screen next year in the film ‘Kit Kittredge: An American Girl’.
